Eligibility details for Telangana State EAMCET 2016 :
The students must satisfy the following eligibility details, they can appear for the TS EAMCET 2016.
a). The student should be compulsory a Indian nationality / Indian origin / overseas citizen of India card holder.
b). Candidate should belong to the Telangana State / Andhra Pradesh State and should satisfy the local / non local status essentials placed in TS / AP education institutions.
Eligibility criteria for B.Tech Stream -
1. Engineering, Bio-Technology, B. Tech (Dairy Technology), B. Tech (Agriculture Engineering) and 50% of seats in B. Pharmacy, B. Tech (Food Science & Technology (FST)) / B. Sc (Commercial Agriculture & Business Management (CA & BM)) courses:
Education Qualifications Required for TSEAMCET-2016 :
- Student have passed or attend for the last year of Intermediate Examination with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional courses in the Group of Engineering and Technology along with bridge courses conducted by the Intermediate Board of Education TS / AP State.
- The candidates should have passed or attend for the Intermediate Examination with subjects Biology, Physics and chemistry are optional along with the bridge course exam in Mathematics conducted by the Intermediate Board of Education Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall eligible for the Biotechnology.

- The student should passed in Diploma Final year examination in Engineering conducted by the State board(TS / AP) of Technical Education & Training.
- The student passed with 45% of marks in Intermediate.
Age Limit :
- The age limit should be 16 years as on 31st December. (For Engineering & Pharmacy courses). There is no upper age limit.
- The candidate age must be 17 years as on December 31 (B. Tech (Dairy Technology, Agr. Engineering, FST and CA &BM)).
- The upper age limit of 22 years for all and 25 years age limit for Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe caste as on 31st December of the year of admission.
2. For B. Sc (Agriculture) / B. Sc (Horti.) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc and B. Tech (FST) / B. Sc (CA & BM) courses :
Educational Qualifications :
- Candidates should passed or appear for the Intermediate Final Year exams or any recognized Institute, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh with any two or three of the subjects.
i). For B. Sc (Agri.), B. Sc (Horti.), B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc : Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture and Vocational Courses in Agriculture.
ii). For B. Tech (Food Science), B. Sc (CA & BM) : Mathematics, Biological or Natural Sciences / Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences.
Age Limit :
The student age must be 17 years age as on 31st December and upper age limit should be 22 years and 25 years age for scheduled caste, scheduled Tribe caste as on 31st December of the year of admission.
3. For MBBS / BDS Courses :
Education Details :
- Students should passed or appear for the Intermediate Final Year exams or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology & English individually with 50% of marks in relevant subject.
- 40% of marks taken in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology (for Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe & Backward classes).
Age Limit :
The student should be completed 17 years of age as on December 31 at the time of admission.
4. For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses :
Educational qualifications:
- Student must passed in Plus Two or equivalent exam with Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology as optional.
Age Limit :
- Candidate age must be 17 years as on December, 31.
- There is no maximum age limit for BAMS / BHMS / BNYS.
5. For B. Pharmacy & Pharm-D Courses :
Educational Qualities :
- For B. Pharm : The student should be passed in the final year of 12th class conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, TS / AP or any exam conducted by the Board of Intermediate.
- For Pharm-D course : Student should passed in Plus Two and also passed in Final year of Diploma exam in Pharmacy course recognized by Telangana / Andhra Pradesh state of Technical education and Training.
- Student should get 45% of score in the specified subjects.
Age Limit :
- The applicant should have 16 years age for B. Pharm course and 17 years for Pharm-D course as on December 31.
- There is no upper age limit for the applicants.
Ranking Criteria for TS EAMCET :
- The student should secure qualifying marks in TS EAMCET-2016
- 75% weightage marks for the Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe caste candidates and 25% of weightage secured in the related group subjects namely, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics.
Online Application form Submission ( Steam Codes ) :
- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology students could be submit "E" stream online application form for B.E / B. Tech / B. Tech (Agri. Engg.) / B. Tech ( Dairy Technology) / B. Tech(FST) / B.Sc(CA & BM) (MPC) / B.Pharm (MPC) / Pharm-D (MPC) courses.
- Biology, Physics, Chemistry or its equivalent course candidates should submit "AM" stream online application for B.Sc (Agri.) / B.Sc (Horti.) / B.V.Sc & AH / B.F.Sc / B. Tech (FST) / B.Sc (CA&BM) / MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BNYS / B.Pharm / B. Tech (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C) / Pharm-D (Bi.P.C) courses. For B. Tech (Bio Technology) (Bi.P.C) and pass in bridge course exam in Mathematics held by B.I.E, AP.
